DAY 1 PART 3 - INCHEON AIRPORT

Landed: 5:30pm korea time(its 1 hr later time difference from sg over there).

The first sight of South Korea..Incheon Airport!! wohoo and i seriously can't believe it that im there.

Landed!!!!

The plane parking on its spot..and i see Incheon!!!!

First thing we get off the plane..toilets!! And oohh the first signboard in korea i read..even though there's english,i tried reading the korean words..i make out..hwa-jang-sil.

Its easy to find your way arnd here..juz follow the crowd..oh and the friendly sign.

Getting our passport ready along with the arrival card and customs declaration card.

We have to take the skytrain first to get to the Passenger Terminal where we have to go thru immigration and collect our baggage. Check out the crowd..but the trains run arnd every 5mins so its no problemo..

 

Arriving at the passenger terminal, we have to climb up a few sets of escalator to the immigration counters. Boy were we glad to walk there fast enough as the queue starts to form super fast. Immigration were smooth, they chop our passport and took our arrival cards. Oh and they have this machine where they took a photo of our face and also fingerprint. I think its for record and further identification purposes.

So after that we went to collect our baggage and surprisingly there's no security checks at all..an officer will be standing near the arrival gate to collect our customs declaration form and thats it, your okay to pass thru, unless you have anything to declare.

If you look closely there's a woman walking her dog around the airport..is that even allowed??

So here we are..we were thinking of getting some snacks,duty free stuffs and T-Money card from 7-11 but we were too tired and jetlagged as expected furthermore i had this super killer headaches pounding in my head probably caused by lack of sleep and strong pressure from the plane. So i needed a bed badly!!!

So i headed to the International Taxi booth to confirm with them my online booking earlier whether it went thru, and surprisingly it did(the counter staffs speaks english btw), they said the driver has been waiting long for us. Turns out he was just standing just beside the booth haha..and he was holding a board with my name funnily printed on it. And written on it was(im not kidding you) ''Mssuhaimibinhamidasseiy''. LOL!!! What the hell seyy how come im a ''Ms''.And i have an ''ass'' behind my name big lol.

 So we met up with him,he speaks good english,old man probably arnd late 40s..turns out he waited at the wrong exit gate so maybe thats why we didn't see him, nice man very friendly even help Mabe with her luggage. I forgot his name hehe. Then he show us out to where he park his taxi.

As soon as we exit Incheon Airport...our first contact with South Korea weather..brrgghh it was damn cooold...but compare to sg hot tropical weather..ahh it was refreshing and cooling. Incheon airport is near the sea btw so that explains the cold temperature.
